1. Доканал уже лектор по Arvutid. Надоели уже всякие мультиплексоры и подобная фигня. Сколько можно?! Хочется послать лектора на все три... и логику туда же, первое задание на которой было примерно такое: "φ((α € β) => (α !€ β)) = ?", на русским языке это звучало бы так: "альфа принадлежит бета, из этого следует, что альфа не принадлежит бета" - как оказалось, это вполне реально! Как? А вот так:
φ((α € β) => (α !€ β)) =
= max(1 - φ(α € β), φ(α !€ β)) =
= max(1 - φ(α € β), φ(-(α € β))) =
= max(1 - φ(α € β), 1 - φ(α € β)) =
= 1 - φ(α € β)
Отсюда видно, что если φ(α € β) = 1, то 1 - φ(α € β) = 1 - 1 = 0. Т.е. такого быть не может при α € β. С другой стороны, если φ(α € β) = 0, то 1 - φ(α € β) = 1 - 0 = 1 => всё пучком. Такое может быть %)

2. По Võrgurakendused надо делать CGI-шник на Яве. Сорник ссылок с рейтингом. Хаха.

3. Группа Инферно м.б. поедет в конце мая в Москву на некий фест. Им оплатят поездку, проживание, аппаратуру, поесть-попить и к тому же м.б. ещё и заплатят.

4. Я получил государственную стипку! 8 Койдул в месяц, причём в этом месяце дадут 16 Койдул (за февраль + март). Класс! Мне будут давать деньги просто так.

5. Вроде собрались записать 3 песни на студии. Если всё удастся, то уже в начале апреля они будут у нас.

Hi y'all! yesterday I found out, that I can take part in the MSDN Academic Alliance, and that means that I get licenced Microsoft products for free (100% free). I already got myself a copy of Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Pro. (don't blame me, linuxoids :D I have work to do in Windows! I promise, I'll change!). I also plan to get Windows Vista in the near future to see what it is.

Оно находится тут. В общем и целом сайтик фиговенький. Почему? Ну, во-первых, мне не нравится дизайн (которого как такового и нету). Во-вторых, дело в том, что сайт убогий структурно - когда вы смотрите Minust -> Elu (например), страница состоит из
1. index2.html
2. minust.html
3. elu_menu.html
4. elu.html
Вот так вот! :)

ЗЫ Сайт сделан для Лисы и не тестировался ни в Опере, ни в ИЕ - нигде кроме Лисы :)

Why I use Linux as my primary desktop OS (Part 1)

I decided to write a few things about the reasons for using linux (Ubuntu 5.10), but not Windows.
1. Linux install takes me about 90 minutes, including all the programs I need and configuration of these. Installing Windows is a pain for me, because I have to install enourmous amounts of drivers and programs by hand - it takes the whole evening.
2. In linux to install 99% of programs I just need to open terminal and type "sudo apt-get install [program_name]". Sounds nice? Yeah. There also a graphical frontend for apt-get, which is called Synaptic with comfortable search functions. Also, uninstalling programs is a very easy task. The command "sudo apt-get --remove [program_name]" helps achieving that. Or just open Synaptic and uncheck the checkbox beside the program.
3. Window Managers for any taste! GNOME, KDE, XFCE, Enlightenment, Fluxbox, IceWM - you just need to choose (Ubuntu uses GNOME by default, but there is Kubuntu and Xubuntu too, which have KDE and XFCE by default respectively - anyway, you can checge that at any time by installing additional WMs). Windows only has 1 built-in interface... yuck! ugly...
4. Linux IS user friendly. Try Ubuntu and you'll understand me.

I'm in a little hurry, so I'll write the second part a little bit later.

I'm totally pissed off! Irina Slutskaja was better than Sasha Cochen (I don't know how to spell her surname...)!!! Sasha had two falls, which means that she had NO CASCADES at all! Why do judjes give her 55.xx??? These cascades usually give about 15 points... Sasha sould have been given about 45 points for the tech. Irina had 1 fall. And it wasn't a cascade - it was a less important element and she gets 53.xx for tech!!! Absolutely inadequate score.
I wonder how much money did judges make putting Sasha before Irina?

My last work && trouble with windows network

I am tired of codeing for now, so I decided to write a post. Well. There's this site I've done scripting system for - here it is. It took me about a month to make the CMS for it (it was made from scratch! absolutely new code, mostly because I switched to object-oriented programming). The thing is quite cool, but lacks the "reuse" ability, witch I am working on right now.

And another thing I want to say. I was encountering constant problems accessing Windows Network at home... I did everything to get smbclient working, but no luck (I even made smbclient see the network by playing with iptables, but I couldn't connect to any share). In the end I remembered that I installed a FIREWALL sme time ago and decided to take a look at its logs. What do you think? The firewall was blocking everything! I know, I know, you think: "what a dumbass!", - but wait, the "ps aux | grep firestarter" didn't show me anything. I noticed it only when I ran "sysv-rc-conf" and I saw the Firestarter daemon... Gosh! I was frustrated... By the way, Firestarter didn't want to pay attention to the rules I created for the samba server - it continued to block it, so I decided to say "Bye-bye" to this great piece of software. With tears in my eyes I typed "sudo dpkg --purge firestarter" and hit [Enter]... Now I really should do the iptables configuration, but I'm too lazy for it... Maybe later ;)

PS The rich text editor really sucks! link creation under Firefox 1.5 is a pain in ... well... it is rather uncomfortable.
